Blessed to be a mother of two glorious young ones who are the light of my life, both are extremely kind, wise, talented and brilliant. Jordan my son, is an extremely gifted musician and crazy good artist who lights up the room with his smile. Juliette, my daughter is my best friend, she’s a fabulous chef, CEO of her own business (Coconut Bird, LLC), a model, and a huge inspiration to me. I’m also a wife, for 25 sweet years now, married to the love of my life, Jerome. He is a multi-talented man, a fine artist and gourmet chef/visionary, gifted tennis player and a loving father. My parents, truly amazing people, my mom, Diana Nightingale, an author and motivational speaker, my late step-father Earl Nightingale, author, radio legend (Sky King, Our Changing World, Radio Hall of Fame, winner of a Gold Record for Spoken Word (first of its kind) from his original recording “The Strangest Secret”, and my hero). Earl was the person who lit a fire under me at an early age, encouraging me NOT to conform, recognized that I was a free spirit and put me on the right path. He told me to, “To be happy & fulfilled career wise, find a way to serve others doing what you love. And to see what everyone else is doing and do the exact OPPOSITE.” Born with artistic genes, my dear late Uncle, Ken Johnson, was an Emmy Award winning Art Director, he was the Art Director for the ground-breaking tv show, “Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In”, along with many other tv shows. Others in my family are fine artists, photographers, animators, culinary geniuses, big dreamers. I have worn many hats and tried many jobs, but art is what my heart directs me to do, I’m driven to create with a passion that is visible and visceral. I’ve had solo shows from coast to coast, owned two art galleries and all that jazz.
